Abstract: How to view the reform of Catholic Church in sixteenth century and its relationship with virtue as an important issue studying humanist philosophy. Humanists emphasize that education is foundation for cultivating personality believe restoring virtues church “cure” ills early modern church. Consilium de emendanda ecclesia (1537) humanists’ practice virtue. This reflected proposals strengthen educational norms socio-moral disciplines perfecting clerical driving force reform. In addition, under guidance ethics, politics becomes guiding ideology those political practice, where they recognize Pope´s authority one Church, associating legitimacy power.
